For the surge barriers and the nationwide water measurement system in the Netherlands, UCC designed, built and maintains a mission critical private satellite communication network for RWS that monitors, detects and reports the changes of the sea levels , providing a fail safe communication system for an early warning system along the sea coast, protecting a major part of the Netherlands in the event of coastal storm tides.
For Seaguard Security, a global private maritime security company (PMSC), UCC developed a real-time onboard incident reporting system, complying to the highest international maritime- and government regulatory standards.
Incorporating private satellite communication for dedicated secure communication, the system is able to deliver real time video as well as data on objects, individuals (fatigue detection), rule of engagement incident reporting and key vessel performance such as propulsion and power control system.
In addition, – ship to shore communication – including VOIP, email, WhatsApp, SMS, iMessenger and internet services can be made available to the crew and is offered on subscription basis.
For STATOIL, VSAT stations were installed on three subsea HIPPS Platforms. UCC grid security platform solution provides critical end-to-end infrastructure safety and security monitoring and reporting. This solution is applicable to power plants, substations, central monitoring operation, windpower and solar energy stations.
